Perfect Pangram Finder — Seven Letters, Each Used Once

A perfect pangram is a seven-letter word that uses each hive letter exactly once. No repeats, nothing missing. They are rare, which is why players brag about them.

How to use perfect pangrams

  1. Open the pangram finder for your hive.
  2. Look for words with length 7.
  3. If the perfect count is zero, spend your time on longer pangrams instead.

Perfect versus ordinary

An ordinary pangram only has to include every letter. It can be long and full of repeats. A perfect pangram is a rearrangement of the seven letters and nothing else. If the hive has a repeated letter inside one word, that word is not perfect, even if it is a pangram.

On the answer list, perfect pangrams are the pangrams whose length is exactly 7. HiveMate marks them.

How to search

If you are hunting by hand, write the seven letters once and try to pronounce a word. There is no spare letter to “bridge” an awkward pair, so many hives have no perfect pangram at all. The header count will say so, and you can stop looking.

Example shape, not a daily puzzle: the letters in PLAYING can form the word PLAYING, which is seven unique letters. In a hive made of those letters it would be a perfect pangram worth 14 points.

Do not confuse it with a bingo in other games

Other word games use “bingo” for a different bonus. In this puzzle the community name is perfect pangram. The score bonus is the same +7 any pangram gets. The beauty is the shape, not a second bonus.

Frequently asked questions

Does every hive have a perfect pangram?

No. Many hives have pangrams and still have none that are perfect.

Is a 14-point word always perfect?

A 7-letter pangram scores 14, and a 7-letter word that uses all seven letters cannot have repeats, so yes, that score shape is a perfect pangram.
